Da Pascasius al Brain Disease. Per una storia dei paradigmi del gambling

  • Mauro Croce

From the first manual on the treatment of gamblers in 1561 to the present day, what has changed? Through the presentation of the main interpretative models that have followed, the contribution aims to offer a critical reflection around evolution of the definition of pathological gambling syndrome until the current definition of the DSM-5 trying to highlight what economic and cultural elements have influenced the different interpretations.
