The work “Epistolario di Anton Francesco Gori” (1691-1757) (The Letters of Anton Francesco Gori) has been the subject of multiple studies, and degree theses. In recent years a computerised cataloguing project supported by the University of Florence has been curated by Cristina De Benedictis and Maria Grazia Marzi, with the aim of studying, digitally cataloguing and transcribing the Gori correspondence kept in the homonym fund of the Marucelliana Library. The on-line database edited by Clara Gambaro contains approximately 10,000 letters of the collection and is equipped with a search system that allows the user to extrapolate a variety of topics from the content of the transcripts. Therefore, this digital tool serves as an efficient means to expand the pool of reader and deepen the study.
