Ars e ratio nel progetto di architettura
  • Riccardo Gulli,

Four friends, in a given place, at a given time, discuss on the transmission of knowledge in the fields of architectural theory and practice, following the maze of paths unfolding within that neutral space where the world of images and the world of concepts, theArs and the Ratio. coexist. The narrative formula is therefore endowed with a double value: on the one hand, the expedient is what allows the conveyance of the transfer of knowledge, using the didactic model based on dialectical confrontation; on the other, it represents the metaphor of the cognitive process which dominates the designing action. The figures are the stepping stone of this process, and the assumption based on which an alternative approach to design theory takes shape. This volume is accompanied by a large repertoire of sources and resources that are available online.
