Guido Bastianini, full professor, teaches papyrology at the University of Florence. He is director of the «G. Vitelli» Papyrological Institute and vice-president of the Association Internationale de Papyrologues. He has dealt with Roman administration in Egypt, papyri with philosophical contents, and Hellenistic epigrams. Among his main publications: with J. Walter Lapini, full professor, teaches Greek language and civilization at the University of Genoa. He has dealt with historiography in the Classical period, Hellenistic epigrams, Attic theatre and pre-Socratic philosophy. Mauro Tulli, full professor, teaches Greek literature at the University of Pisa. He is director of the Department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics. He is president of the International Plato Society. He has dealt with papyri, text tradition, relations between literature and philosophy, and rhetoric.
