Il rispetto del principio di pari opportunità

L’annullamento della composizione delle giunte regionali e degli enti locali
  • Francesca Ragno,

Recent political and case-law newspaper articles have brought to the attention of the public opinion the scarce presence of women in the governing bodies of Italian provinces, municipalities and regions: several statements by the administrative courts have nullified the formation of the city councils where no woman had been appointed, or where their inclusion was too low to guarantee effective gender equality. The core of this work focuses on this very topical issue, with a look at the history of women presence in Italian politics and at those good administrative practices which include an effective participation of women in city government.
