This article explores Charles Fourier's conception of the travail attrayant, work-pleasure. It analyzes the innovative nature of the relationship between human passions, their desiring energy and natural attraction for work. It reconstructs the socio-political and emancipatory value of the "right to work" and investigates the unprecedented ways of community the self-management and remuneration equity. It also emphasizes the equal involvement of men and women in re-setting production. Finally, it delves into the topicality and the complex measurement of the minimum, or entry salary.
