Georg Simmel e la filosofia del lavoro

  • Andrea Borsari

With the fading obliteration of the labour theme that the hegemony of neoliberalism had brought with it, attention has also been paid to Simmel's thought on the contribution it can make to the reflection on labour. The text aims to give an account of Simmel's attention to labour as an economic-social fact related to value (§§ 2-3), but also as an element of cultural theory that conditions the entire field of relations between subjective and objective spirit or culture on the basis of the division of labour (§ 4), as well as its relation to creativity and artistic production (§ 5), finally allowing for a synthetic assessment of the relations between Simmel and the philosophy of labour (§ 6).
