The book is the result of a work on the experiences of mortal diseases of children and on their psychological and ethical implications. The study was conducted with conference days and in-depth seminars by teachers and researchers belonging to different disciplines of Medicine, Psychology, Philosophy, Nursing Sciences. It contains the contributions to the conference days and the reports of the researchers participating in the seminars; in this way, an ideal path has been marked which, alternating reflections and testimonies, leads to a new awareness of healthcare based on the quality of the human relationship as a prerequisite for the health act.
