La consulenza direzionale: interpretazione scientifica in chiave cognitiva

  • Francesco Ciampi,

The work concerns the scientific interpretation of the Management Consulting activity. After a conceptual framework of the distinctive characteristics that ideally qualify this activity, the analysis of the client ? consultant relational dynamics is developed along three paths: a synchronic approach (models of consulting relationship), a diachronic approach (dynamics of the consulting process) and an innovative approach, that is the cognitive one. The hope is that the mapping of meta-consultancy knowledge creation approaches will allow the client and the consultant to plan (and manage) the consultancy dynamics more effectively, as well as to evaluate the results of the consultancy project on the basis of cognitive value (creation of new skills and abilities) and on the basis of the economic value generated (cost reductions and / or increases in revenues achieved by the client, fees received by the consultant).
