The volume gathers most of the contributions in which Riccardo Del Punta’s reflection on the foundations of labour law is articulated and developed, a reflection driven by the Author’s primordial passion for philosophy and inspired by a convinced openness to confrontation with the other social sciences. The book is introduced by Maria Luisa Vallauri, who traces a biographical and intellectual profile of the Author following the thread of his reflection, and by Del Punta’s essay “Le ali del dubbio (pensieri su Giorgio Gaber, il lavoro e il mercato)”, in which his human and intellectual trait, stretched between doubt, disenchantment and search for truth, is clearly visible.
