The Vocabulary Database is a lexical organiser, aimed at helping to achieve a marked and rapid increase in one's vocabulary. It enables the English-language learner to store in one single place the multitude of new vocabulary items acquired through classroom or independent study, and at the same time it provides a key for their rapid retrieval. The Database is made up of numerous 'files' such as Synonyms, Opposites, False Friends, Multiple Meanings, Suffixes, Phrasal Verbs etc. in which to enter data taken from readings and classroom activities.
