The Manuscript Fragment of the Stockholm Catechism (1628) Preserved in Halle: Attribution, Dating and Intended Use. The article examines a manuscript copy, located in Halle, of the first Russian translation of M. Luther's Small Catechism, printed in Stockholm in 1628. Relying on the linguistic and textological analysis of the document and the comparison of the results obtained with historical facts, an attempt is made to assign it to an author and date it, as well as to make a guess about its intended use.
