The paper examines civil trial reform by looking at the expected results in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of protection. After a tour of the horizon on the main regulatory innovations, the A. dwells on digitization, the usefulness of prescriptions for writing clear and concise documents, the advantages of video-linked hearings, and then concludes by focusing on the possible role of the Trial Office, also in light of the Agile Justice project conducted by the University of Florence in the more general framework of the National Operational Program (PON) Governance Justice for "the dissemination of the Trial Office and the implementation of innovative operational models in judicial offices for the elimination of the backlog."
