Un altro concetto di sostenibilità

  • Paola Lucarelli

The chapter is introductory in nature and sets out the rationale for the multidisciplinary study, finding sustainability as the guiding principle of justice system reform interventions as well. Indeed, this has confirmed its relevance in the country's recovery process following the pandemic, attracted the attention of legislators engaged in reforms, as well as universities in designing innovative models for justice efficiency and effectiveness. The pursuit of the goals assumed in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan assigns a central role to strengthening the trial office by recruiting a large number of staff. How the activities of the office are carried out, in particular with what contribution and purposes the different professional skills interact, can become strategic for a justice that is both sustainable and efficient.
