In line with current synergies between the University of Siena and the University of Florence, USiena Press has launched a collaboration and partnership project with Firenze University Press (FUP), which allows it to access quality publishing services using digital tools and in compliance with present standards for the collection, publication, dissemination and conservation of scientific and cultural contents.

The University of Siena has its own Editorial Board, nominated by the Academic Senate within the University Committee for Libraries, which maintains autonomy in proposing items for publication and collaborates with that of Firenze University Press.

FUP and USiena Press Volumes Indexed in Scopus

The volumes published by Firenze University Press and USiena Press have been officially accepted for indexing in Scopus, the leading international bibliographic database for scientific research. This recognition enhances the visibility and dissemination of the scientific output of the Universities of Florence and Siena, improving the traceability of publications and the tools for research evaluation.

The inclusion of FUP and USiena Press volumes in Scopus represents a strategic step toward strengthening the visibility and evaluation of the scientific production of the two universities. This achievement improves the international recognition of the publications, increases the impact of research, and contributes positively to global academic rankings. Moreover, it supports the Open Access policy, ensuring greater dissemination of open-access works.
