The UNIverSI series stands alongside the University's other series. Characterised by an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach, it aims to collect contributions relating to the results of specialist research, teaching activities and social impact activities carried out in the various academic fields represented within the University (economics, law and political science; literature, history, philosophy and the arts; biomedical and medical sciences; experimental sciences). The series is divided into three subseries: Research, Education and Third Mission. UNIverSI will mainly publish monographs, conference proceedings and manuals that also support teaching and can become accessible to all students, in accordance with the European Union's European Accessibility Act directive. The series will also include educational publications resulting from public engagement initiatives.
Authors from the University of Siena are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts to the series editor, collana.universi@unisi.it.
All books published in the series undergo peer review.
The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
“UNIverSI. Ricerca – Didattica – Terza missione all’Università di Siena” is published by Firenze University Press and USiena PRESS, an innovative publishing project of the University of Florence and the University of Siena designed for the community of scholars and their research.
