The series develops the themes of territorial government and planning developed by the 'Italian territorialist school' in a multidisciplinary way. The urban and territorial project approach, landscape and environmental planning, and the management of territorial planning tools, is based on the theories of self-sustainable local development centred on the enhancement of places and the specific identity of their heritage. The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool to share ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
