The series is coordinated by the Centro Interdipartimentale di ricerca Franco Fortini in Storia della tradizione culturale del Novecento, one of the most important Italian institutions for the study of letters and correspondence, manuscripts and typescripts, drafts and other author's materials, including a substantial book collection, often accompanied by author's footnotes. “Carteggi e Materiali” hosts scientific, critical editions of correspondence and works by Franco Fortini and other authors including Carlo Bordini, Cesare Cases, Alessandro Parronchi, Renato Solmi. National and international scholars together with brilliant young researchers support the Center providing the publication of unpublished documents and correspondence.

Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts to the series editor, niccolo.scaffai@unisi.it.

All books published in the series undergo peer review.

The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
