The series collects the award-winning publications of the 'Istituto Sangalli Prize for Religious History', devised and sponsored by the Istituto Sangalli for Religious History and Culture in collaboration with the University and Research Department of the City of Florence. The prize supports the research activities of young scholars in the field of religious history from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age. The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool to share ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
