Luca Capponcelli is Associate professor of Japanese Language and Literature at the University of Catania, SDS Ragusa. His studies are devoted to modern Japanese poetry and fiction authors, including Yosano Akiko, Kajii Motojirō, and Satō Haruo.

Diego Cucinelli is Researcher of Japanese Literature at the University of Florence. He is editor in chief of Florientalia - East Asian Studies Series (FUP) and board member of the Italian Association for Japanese Studies (AISTUGIA).

Chiara Ghidini is Associate professor of East Asian religions and philosophy at the University of Naples L’Orientale and member of the Board of Directors of ISMEO—The International Association for Mediterranean and Oriental Studies.

Matilde Mastrangelo is Professor of Japanese Language and Literature at the Sapienza University in Rome. Among his most recent publications: “Il viaggio nel teatro di narrazione giapponese: tecniche e funzioni diegetiche.” Costellazioni. Rivista di lingue e letterature 22 (2023).

Rolando Minuti is Professor of Modern History at the University of Florence. Among his most recent publications: L’Oriente nella cultura europea del lungo ’700. Studi di storia intellettuale (Napoli: Bibliopolis 2024).
